Tuscany

Tuscany is a region of timeless beauty, where world-class art and architecture meet rolling vineyards and sun-drenched coastlines. From Florence’s Renaissance treasures to Pisa, Siena and the hills of Chianti, Tuscany offers a rich tapestry of culture, history and la dolce vita.

If any region in Italy captures the imagination, it is Tuscany. Its cities brim with artistic and architectural treasures, from Florence’s Renaissance masterpieces to Pisa’s tilted tower and the medieval allure of Lucca, Siena and San Gimignano. Often called a ‘medieval Manhattan’, the latter’s skyline is shaped by 12th- and 13th-century towers, symbols of noble rivalry and wealth.

Beyond the cities, life slows to a luxurious pace. Follow the Chianti Road from Florence to Siena, winding through rolling hills past vineyards and ancient castles. South of Siena, Montalcino and Montepulciano produce some of Italy’s finest red wines. Stay in a storybook hotel, truffle hunting by day and dining like royalty by night.

Tuscany’s coastline is often overlooked but offers its own delights. Forte dei Marmi is the region’s most glamorous seaside retreat, while La Maremma remains a hidden gem, with a gorgeous coastline and some of the sunniest weather in the Mediterranean.
