Explora Journeys
Explora Journeys is a new luxury cruise line from the same Swiss-Italian family behind MSC, the world’s largest privately owned cruise company. Promising to redefine luxury cruising, its first ship, Explora I, made her maiden voyage in August 2023 and is the first of six such ships set to launch over the next five years.
With itineraries ranging from the Mediterranean and Western Europe to the Caribbean and Central America, the USA, Canada, Africa, the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean, its all-inclusive journeys promise greater cultural immersion in your chosen destination than traditional cruise lines, as well as a wide array of curated pursuits and experiences.
Life onboard
Life on board is about as good as it gets at sea. For one, you needn’t worry about overspending as virtually everything is included, from unlimited fine wines and premium spirits to a choice of nine distinct culinary experiences (including in-suite dining), spa access, wellbeing and fitness programmes on board and at the destinations, all on-board gratuities and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship. Facilities include six restaurants, 12 bars and lounges, four swimming pools, 64 private poolside cabanas, a range of spa, wellness and fitness facilities, a casino, art gallery and curated shopping experiences.
Accommodation
Choose from 461 ocean-front suites, penthouses and residences, all thoughtfully designed to be ‘homes at sea’ with expansive views and private terraces. Suites start at a generous 35 square metres, which makes them among the largest in the luxury cruise sector. Penthouses feature private indoor dining areas for up to four guests, as well as a separate lounge area with a comfortable sofa and chairs, plus a spacious outdoor sun terrace. Ocean Residences are larger still: tranquil sanctuaries with sweeping private decks, panoramic ocean views, private outdoor whirlpools and flawless butler service.
