Sardinia

Considered the oldest landmass in Europe, there is much more to this picturesque Italian island than meets the eye. Steeped in history, culture, and beautiful backdrops, Sardinia is a designated ‘Blue Zone’, a region where the people live longer and healthier lives than anywhere else on the planet, and it is easy to see why. The beauty of Sardinia’s landscape lies in its diversity, from its alpine forests to its crisp white beaches, and the many activities and experiences it offers to visitors. Immerse in the local laid-back way of life, with days spent relaxing on the beaches, and swimming in the bright blue waters and scalloped bays of the popular Costa Smeralda. Hike through the lush, sleepy wilderness around Monte Arcuentu, or to the Waterfalls of Piscina Irga. Dive to the shipwrecks off Cagliari’s coast, the underwater Nereo Cave, and Nora’s submerged Roman ruins, or head to the north coast for excellent windsurfing. Discover archaeological sites, like the Nuragic complexes, or explore pretty coastal villages, like Stintino, which combines the charm of a lively fishing village with high-end hotels, and fun activities.
