Forte Village Resort, Le Palme

One of several great options for families within the vast Forte Village resort, Hotel Le Palme sits immersed in tropical gardens at the heart of the action. The magnificent Oasis pool is nearby, as is Piazza Luisa, the resort’s social hub offering shows, entertainment and the foremost names in Italian designer shopping.

Accommodation here is very much designed with young families in mind. Luxurious bungalows all have patios and gardens. Some have separate living rooms with a sofa that converts into two beds, others have two adjoining bedrooms, while one option comes with its own private ‘play garden’, complete with toys, slide and playhouse.

Also close at hand is the resort’s Aquapark, complete with pirate ship, waterslides and anti-slip play area. Older kids might want to sign up for some of the numerous sports academies, with everything on offer from tennis, netball and rugby to go-karting, magic and even DJing. And with the kids off having fun, parents can unwind with a treatment at the spa or relax with a drink at a choice of 14 bars.
