  • Day 1

    Delhi to Thimphu (via Paro)

    Following an unforgettable flight over the Himalayas from Delhi you will arrive in Paro, where you will then be transferred to Amankora Thimphufor a 2 night stay. Spend the afternoon visiting the museums or the National Library before browsing the main street for interesting Himalayan artefacts and textiles.

  • Day 2

    Thimphu

    Today you will take a short hike to Cheri Goemba, then visit the 16th century Pangri Zampa, which now houses a training school for astrologers, followed by the seat of Bhutan’s government and Royal offices; Trashi Chhoe Dzong.

  • Day 3

    Thimphu to Punakha

    Depart early this morning for a dramatic drive via the Dochu La Pass to Amankora Punakhafor a 2 night stay.
