A Taste of Thailand

From the banks of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River and the historic sights of Chiang Mai, to the sandy shores of Phuket and Khao Lak, this 13 day itinerary has it all. Your journey begins in bustling Bangkok where you will witness many ‘must see’ attractions, like the Grand Palace, before heading on to explore Chiang Mai to enjoy private tours and authentic local experiences. The trip will then culminate with some beachside bliss on Phuket’s western coast and leisurely exploration in Khao Lak.

  • Day 1

    London to Bangkok

    You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to The Peninsula Bangkok for a 2 night stay. Set beside the Chao Phraya River, this elegant hotel is ideally located to enjoy the buzz of the city yet also offers a great place to retreat to with its Peninsula Spa and outdoor pool.

  • Day 2

    Bangkok

    After breakfast in the hotel you will head out on a private guided tour to discover the Grand Palace, a ‘must see’ for all visitors. This architectural wonder and former royal residence is adorned with golden stupas, shimmering pillars and walls encrusted with colourful mosaics. Amid the grounds you will also find Wat Phra Kaew, regarded as Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temple and from here you will visit Wat Po, famed for its giant reclining Buddha. The remainder of the day is free to spend at leisure.

  • Day 3

    Bangkok to Chiang Mai

    This morning you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Bangkok Airport for the short flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival you will be met and taken to the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai for a 2 night stay. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps enjoying the resort’s activities and amenities, including an infinity pool, cookery classes, golf or even a Thai boxing class.
