Star Clippers Cruises

Take your place on deck and observe as thousands of square feet of sails unfold before your eyes.

These impressive ships, including the full-rigged, five masted Royal Clipper, epitomise the elegance of the grand age of sailing, while delivering many of the comforts and conveniences of a modern yacht. Operating three of the world’s largest and tallest sailing ships, Star Clippers treats passengers to the activities, amenities and atmosphere of a private yachting experience. Carrying between 170 and 227 guests, the Royal Clipper and Star Clipper provide passengers with intimate and informal voyages around the world, including the glorious islands of the Caribbean.

Life onboard

Expansive open teak decks are the perfect place to sip cocktails, dip in the pools, socialise with fellow passengers or simply take in the magical scenery from viewing platforms known as ‘crow’s nests’. Interior spaces are equally impressive with finely appointed dining rooms serving delicious cuisine and a relaxed ‘no-tie’ dress code. For passengers of the Royal Clipper, the one-of-a-kind Captain Nemo Lounge with a spa and health club is a soothing retreat below deck, while those onboard the Star Clipper can absorb the atmosphere of the indoor-outdoor Tropical Bar. Slip into your own rhythm at sea, where there are no rigid schedules and charming authentic entertainment is provided by local performers who board at ports along the way.

Accommodation

Sleep to the gentle motion of the ocean in your tastefully appointed cabin, featuring double or twin beds, marble bathroom, TV and DVD player and traditional furnishings. Finished with classic fixtures and fittings of burnished brass and mahogany and with artworks of sailing yachts adorning the walls, the ships’ nautical heritage is ever present. Onboard the Royal Clipper, 14 Deluxe Suites offer elevated levels of cruising comfort, as each has a private veranda and whirlpool tub. Service and welcoming hospitality play a prominent part of the Star Clipper experience and cabins are immaculately maintained by discreet yet attentive stewards, who know exactly when to appear and disappear.
