Days 1-3
Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to the Fairmont Waterfront for a three-night stay, a luxurious harbourfront hotel with gorgeous views of the North Shore Mountains. Spend the next two days exploring Vancouver. Walk amid the ancient cedars and totem poles of Stanley Park, or wander the stalls of bustling Granville Island Public Market, the epicentre of Vancouver’s renowned food scene.

Day 4
Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer, one of the most famous trains in the world, for your ‘Journey Through the Clouds’. Enjoy SilverLeaf service in a glass-domed coach with oversized windows that make photography a breeze. The journey starts by following the Fraser River as breakfast is served in the comfort of your seat. As the fertile farmlands give way to dramatic landscapes, the train’s hosts will serve you a three-course lunch and entertain you with stories about the region. After miles of stunning scenery you’ll pull into Kamloops and transfer to a comfortable hotel for the night.

Jasper
Continue east aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Jasper, passing stunning lake views and mighty Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on board and hear about the incredible history of the railway. Upon arrival in Jasper, transfer to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for a two-night stay. Collect your hire car the next morning and spend the day exploring Jasper National Park, Canada’s largest at more than 4,200 square miles. Highlights include mirror-still Maligne Lake, the largest of the Rockies’ glacier-fed lakes, and the deafening Athabasca Falls.
