Day 1
Arrival in to Merida
Arrive at Merida airport and take a private transfer to the Chable Yucutan Resort & Spa for a 3 night stay. In a unique setting in the heart of the Mayan Forest, the resort is spread across 750 acres on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, just 30 minutes away from the airport and 40 minutes from Mérida. The first evening is at leisure to enjoy the resorts many facilities including a spa, pool and 2 restaurants.

Day 2
Merida
A private, expert guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast for this tour of the historical centre of the city of Mérida.
The city was founded in 1542 by the son of Conquistador Francisco Montejo, who was from Mérida in Spain, and gave this capital city of Yucatán state its name.
Starting in the main square of the city (Zócalo), explore the oldest Cathedral in the Americas, the Government House with paintings by Fernando Castro and the Municipal Palace.
You will then return to the car and head down Paseo de Montejo, the main thoroughfare into the city, modeled on the Champs-Elysees and lined with trees and large colonial houses, once the city homes of rich Hacienda owners. You will stop to take in the large Monument, ‘Monumento de la Patria’, that tells the story of Mexico, with emblems of all the Mexican states. -
Day 3
At Leisure
Chose to spend a day relaxing at the hotel or explore more of Yucatan with options to spend the day at Homun’s Cenote or for the adventurous, kayak amongst mangroves in search of a hidden beach.
