Day 1
Colombo
Your private driver and guide will meet you at the airport upon arrival in Colombo and transfer you to a boutique hotel just 15 minutes away, where you’ll be able to recharge before the adventure ahead.

Days 2-3
Central Highlands
Your private guide will drive you north into the verdant Central Highlands for a two-night stay at Ceylon Tea Trails, Sri Lanka’s first Relais & Châteaux property and the first of the three Resplendent Ceylon properties that form the basis of this tour. You’ll stay in a beautifully restored, colonial-era tea planter’s bungalow, complete with period furnishings, butler service and views of the neatly clipped tea estate. You’ll get to tour the local tea factory the following day, as well as choose from a number of optional activities, including tennis, croquet, spa treatments, mountain biking, scenic hikes and white-water rafting.

Days 4-5
Yala National Park
Enjoy the scenic drive to Yala National Park on the south-east coast of the island and check in for two nights at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, whose cocoon-like tents are immaculately designed in vintage safari style. Comprised of forests, scrubland and grassy plains, Yala is Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife reserve, home to one of the highest concentrations of leopards in the world. Explore it in style on morning and evening game drives.
