Day 1
London to Hanoi
Fly overnight to Hanoi, and upon arrival, after fast-track services through the airport, check in at the Sofitel Legend Metropole for a three-night stay.

Days 2-3
Hanoi
Spend two full days in Vietnam’s historic capital with a private guide. Explore the landmarks of Hanoi and immerse yourself in the local culture and lifestyle. With a turbulent past, international influences, and a vibrant modern outlook, this busy and fascinating city offers much to discover.
Travel by vintage jeep through the Old Quarter, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and explore the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. Your guide will also take you to hidden parts of the city and a local restaurant for lunch, showcasing how integral food is to Hanoi’s daily life.
Day three is a free day for you to explore at your own pace. In the evening, meet your guide for a street food walking tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Sample northern Vietnamese cuisine as you navigate the maze of streets leading to Hoan Kiem Lake and a hidden cafe. -
Day 4
Halong Bay
Travel to the coast to see the famous Halong Bay – the Bay of the Descending Dragon.
Sail to Lan Ha Bay, escaping the busy areas frequently used by daytrip boats. Travel in style on the Heritage Line Ginger junk, enjoying delicious food and shore activities, which include visits to Cat Ba Island, kayaking in the bay, as well as tai chi and cooking demonstrations on the boat.
