Day 1

Arrive in Halifax (D)

Arrive in Halifax, Nova Scotia’s vibrant capital, where a transfer takes you to The Prince George Hotel for a two-night stay. Join your Tauck Director and fellow travellers for a welcome reception and dinner within the historic walls of Halifax Citadel.
Day 2

Peggy’s Cove & Lunenburg (B,L)

Explore Nova Scotia’s picturesque fishing heritage, beginning with the photogenic lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove. Continue to colourful Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its 18th-century architecture and shipbuilding history. Choose between a walking tour of the old town or a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic before returning to Halifax for an evening at leisure.
Day 3

Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island (B, L, D)

Visit the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 before travelling across Nova Scotia to Caribou for lunch and a ferry crossing to Prince Edward Island. Arrive in Charlottetown for a two-night stay at the Delta Hotels Prince Edward, ideally located by the waterfront.
Day 4

From Green Gables to Oyster Tales

Explore Prince Edward Island National Park’s red cliffs and tranquil beaches, and visit Green Gables Heritage Place, inspiration for Anne of Green Gables. Enjoy lunch at the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company before a private visit to Raspberry Point Oyster Co., one of Canada’s most celebrated oyster producers.
Day 5

Savoring the Sea in Shediac (B, L, D)

Travel along New Brunswick’s Acadian coast to Shediac, the “Lobster Capital of the World.” Join a private lobster cruise and enjoy a fresh, locally caught lunch at sea. Overnight in Moncton at Delta Hotels Beauséjour.
Day 6

Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy Coast (B, L, D)

Discover the dramatic tides of the Bay of Fundy at Hopewell Rocks, where towering flowerpot formations rise from the ocean floor. Follow the scenic Fundy Trail Parkway before arriving in charming St Andrews by the Sea for a two-night stay at The Algonquin Resort, a historic landmark overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay.
Day 7

A Day by the Sea in St. Andrews (B, L, D)

Breathe in the salt air of St Andrews on a day filled with choice. Opt for a whale-watching cruise, explore Ministers Island, or browse local shops and galleries. This evening, enjoy a Tauck-exclusive “Land and Sea” lobster boil at your resort.
Day 8

From Sea to Table: Caviar & Crossing (B, L, D)

Enjoy a unique culinary experience at the Acadian Sturgeon & Caviar Academy with a guided tasting. Board the ferry from Saint John to Nova Scotia, crossing the Bay of Fundy to Digby before travelling through the fertile Annapolis Valley to Wolfville for a two-night stay at the Old Orchard Inn.
Day 9

Roots and Vines in the Lovely, Tranquil Annapolis Valley (B, D)

Visit Grand-Pré National Historic Site to learn about the legacy of the Acadian people, followed by a tasting at one of Nova Scotia’s acclaimed vineyards. Enjoy free time in the charming town of Wolfville before a Tauck-exclusive farewell dinner at your countryside inn.
Day 10

Journey Home (B)

Return to Halifax along one of Nova Scotia’s most scenic drives, stopping at Lake Charlotte’s historic general store before your tour concludes at Halifax International Airport.
