Enjoy the big city vibe of Toronto, the quaint capital city of Ottawa in Ontario before crossing into Quebec for some French flair in Montreal and historic Quebec City. Days 1 & 2

Toronto

Arrive in Toronto for a three-night stay at the iconic Fairmont Royal York. Canada’s largest city brims with energy, from its waterfront setting on Lake Ontario to the designer boutiques of Bloor-Yorkville. Explore world-class restaurants, stylish bars and an array of attractions, all within easy reach. The city’s defining landmark, the CN Tower, offers breathtaking views from its observation deck — a must for first-time visitors.
Day 3

Niagara Falls

Take a full-day excursion to Niagara Falls, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders. Watch as torrents of water cascade more than 50 metres into the basin below, before boarding a cruise for an up-close encounter with the roaring falls. On the return to Toronto, stop in the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Visit one of the region’s celebrated wineries and sample Icewine, Ontario’s unique sweet vintage made from grapes frozen on the vine.
Day 4

Toronto to Ottawa

With Union Station conveniently located opposite your hotel, begin your rail journey in comfort. Relax in the business class lounge before boarding the VIA Rail service to Ottawa, travelling in style through Ontario’s rolling countryside. The route follows the shores of Lake Ontario before winding through maple forests and pastoral landscapes. On arrival, check in for a two-night stay at another Canadian landmark, the Fairmont Château Laurier.
Day 5

Ottawa

Discover Canada’s capital, where the Gothic spires of Parliament Hill rise above the Ottawa River and the scenic Rideau Canal winds through the heart of the city. Home to many of the nation’s museums and galleries, Ottawa offers culture and charm in equal measure. Today includes your choice of one of three guided tours: a walking and canal cruise tour, an express guided bike ride, or a delicious food tour of the lively ByWard Market.
Day 6

Ottawa to Montreal

Today’s train journey east takes just under four hours, with business class dining and refreshments served en route. Watch as the landscape transforms from farmland to forest before reaching vibrant Montréal — the world’s second-largest French-speaking city after Paris. The centrally located station sits directly beneath your hotel, the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, where you’ll stay for two nights.

Montreal

Set on an island in the St. Lawrence River, Montréal blends European flair with Canadian vitality. Explore Old Montréal’s cobblestone streets and historic port, or the modern downtown and Golden Square Mile. Choose from a range of included excursions: a half-day city sightseeing tour, a guided walk through Old Montréal, or a market-based food tour showcasing the city’s celebrated culinary scene.
Day 8

Montreal to Quebec City

A seamless start to the day as an elevator in your hotel lobby leads directly to the station. Relax in the lounge before boarding your train for the three-and-a-half-hour journey along the St. Lawrence River. Pass charming villages, forests and rolling farmland before arriving in Québec City. Transfer to the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac — an architectural masterpiece that crowns Old Québec — for a two-night stay.
Day 9 & 10

Quebec City

Québec City, the oldest walled city in North America, is the cultural heart of French Canada. Nearly 400 years of history are reflected in its cobblestone streets and beautifully preserved architecture. Choose one included excursions from a choice of four: a guided city tour, a countryside visit to Montmorency Falls, a gourmet walking tour of Old Québec, or a relaxed pedicab ride through the harbour and Lower Town. On your final day, enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your journey home.
