The Anam Mui Ne
Bringing regional Indochina styling to the coastline of southern Vietnam, the Anam Mui Ne is ideally located for a relaxed beach break after a Vietnam exploration or an easily accessible Asian beach stay. Located on a long stretch of beach, and in an area where modern resorts mix with authentic fishing villages, it’s a place to relax and experience Vietnamese culture.
The Anam Mui Ne offers an ideal location, reached a three hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City and an easy combination with Vietnam’s biggest city. It’s a relatively well developed coastline, yet away from some of the large scale developments of Phan Thiet.
The resort offers a tranquil escape with traditional and French colonial design touches, and with 127 guest rooms it is one of the more boutique resort offerings of southern Vietnam. Guest rooms and suites recall the golden age of travel and an Asian-European fusion, with dark woods and ornate designs combined with modern facilities and comforts.
All Deluxe and Premium rooms offer balconies overlooking the tropical gardens, with separate shower rooms and ornate free standing baths. There is a good sense of space, and can be interconnected for families. Or stay on one of the seven Private Pool Suites, in a more secluded location with plunge pools.
Dining at The Anam Mui Ne includes the all day restaurant The Indochine, serving international dishes, casual by day and more refined in the evenings, along with a show kitchen. Lan Viet restaurant and bar is designed to represent traditional fishing villages and serves Vietnamese specialities from north to south for lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar serves afternoon tea to the sounds of the resident pianist, and next to the pool the Saigon Bar has a classic Indochine style and an inviting setting for a sundowner cocktail. Added to the hotel restaurants, there’s a great choice of places to eat and drink in the area surrounding the Anam.
The Anam Mui Ne offers two pools, a freshwater central lap pool and a free form beach pool fed by seawater. Other facilities include a water sports centre with sea kayaks and SUP boards, and where kite surfing lessons can be arranged. There’s morning yoga sessions available by the beach, a kids club and the Anam Spa, as well as excursions available to explore the coast and interior.
