Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort
Sprawling across 750 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, Terre Blanche may look like just another picturesque Provençale village, but this standout hotel is anything but rustic, offering stylish suites and magnificent villas, an excellent spa, two championship golf courses and a scene-stealing infinity pool.
Although awash in the quiet of eastern Provence, the resort is in fact only 30 minutes from the bright lights of Cannes and only 45 minutes from Nice airport. Around it are forests of oak and pine, fields of scented lavender and the old Roman hill towns of the Pays de Fayence, which seem to float on the horizon when seen from the vast infinity pool.
Many come to take advantage of the two championship golf courses and accompanying golf academy, but there are many other ways to relax at Terre Blanche. The hotel’s spa offers indoor and outdoor pools, a Zen-like garden for yoga and Pilates, Aquafit classes and massages and treatments from Valmont and KOS Paris.
Suites are like private pavilions, with king-size beds, dressing rooms, separate living rooms, marble bathrooms and private terraces with calming country views. And those are just the lead-in suites. Villas climb all the way up to 300 square metres and boast private infinity pools and hot tubs on the terrace.
This being France, meals are to be savoured, whether you’re enjoying a gourmey lunch at Le Gaudina on the chic and relaxing terrace, a Michelin-starred dinner at Le Faventia, or picking up breads and pastries from the on-site boulangerie. There is even a restaurant just for children. It’s one of many little touches that make Terre Blanche so popular with families. Others include a complimentary kids’ club, two dedicated family pools, boules, tennis, donkey rides and treasure hunts.
