Set on a two-mile stretch of soft-sand beach, StolenTime by Rendezvous is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort focused on enabling couples, friends and grown-up families to connect with each other in a boutique, 5-star resort setting, away from the pressures of everyday life.

For decades, Rendezvous (as it used to be called) was the leading all-inclusive, couples-only resort on Saint Lucia, with a well-earned reputation for conjuring romance. The StolenTime relaunch opens the hotel not just to couples but to all discerning adults, from solo travellers to families and groups and friends. One of the joys of travelling is the chance to reconnect with those you’re travelling with, and the hotel has curated a carefully designed menu of experiences and activities to help guests spend time and make memories together. Such ‘Stolen Moments’ range from salsa dancing, scuba diving, cooking classes and tennis lessons to organised hikes, massage workshops and mixology competitions, and all – rather wonderfully – are included in the rate.

Hidden among the tropical foliage are tastefully decorated garden-view rooms and suites, all with king-sized beds and a balcony, veranda or terrace. Beachfront rooms offer views of the seaside pool, beach and Caribbean Sea, the pick of the bunch being the Signature Beachfront Cottage and Signature Beachfront Suite, complete with mahogany bedroom and king-size four-poster bed.

Restaurants include the toes-in-the-sand Malabar Beach Club, the indoor, à la carte, fine-dining Trysting Place, and the seaside Terrace Restaurant, a showcase of international flavours, regional tastes and fresh local produce.

The all-inclusive concept includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, all beverages, including premium-brand alcohol and wine by the bottle, a daily ‘bubbly hour’ at the Champagne Bar, nightly entertainment, a weekly manager’s cocktail party, land and watersports, including tennis, yoga, archery and scuba diving, unlimited use of resort facilities, which include a secret garden and a fully equipped fitness centre, and exclusive access to The Spa at The Water Garden, which offers a wide range of restorative treatments.
