Six Senses La Sagesse
Set on a picturesque headland on the south-eastern shores of Grenada, Six Senses La Sagesse is the brand’s first hotel in the Caribbean and brings its signature blend of eco-chic luxury and wellness to the island.
Centered around a natural saltwater lagoon and spread across 38 acres, the resort enjoys a prime spot between two distinct beaches: one a white-sand crescent with shallow warm water, the other more dramatic with crashing Atlantic rollers. Suites and villas use natural, renewable, repurposed materials and are built into the slopes around the lagoon. Even entry-level suites boast private pools and spacious outdoor terraces, with higher categories offering truly knockout views. In addition are one- and two-bedroom luxury pool villas set either on the beach or the hillside, plus five sensational four-bedroom villas located on a bluff with views of the whole estate.
This being Six Senses, the spa takes centre stage, set overlooking the lagoon and built in the style of a traditional village. Single, double and outdoor treatment rooms offer Six Senses signature treatments as well as locally inspired Caribbean rituals, plus everything from sleep tracking and sound healing to biohacking and aerial yoga.
The resort’s approach to wellbeing extends to the food too. Balanced nutrition and locally sourced produce are central to the two main restaurants: all-day dining Callaloo and signature restaurant SeaFire, built around a firepit on the picturesque seafront. Activities, meanwhile, range from chocolate making and rum tasting to guided excursions to explore the island’s waterfalls, rainforests and national parks.
