Sagamore Pendry Baltimore
One of the city’s leading lights, the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore commands a fabulous waterfront setting on Recreation Pier in the historic Fells Point neighbourhood, in a building first built in 1914 as a dance hall and immigration centre. The 128 rooms and suites feature king-size beds, real wood floors covered in plush rugs, custom furnishings, curated artwork and well-appointed bathrooms with natural stone accents. All have floor-to-ceiling windows and several have private balconies with views of Baltimore Harbour or out to the pool deck. The pool is the hotel’s unquestionable showstopper, jutting out into the harbour with private cabanas for relaxing and a bar and grill for dining. Back inside, the Rec Pier Chop House offers timeless Italian cooking while the Canon Room whiskey bar serves rye from the local Sagamore distillery.
