Most hotels in Marrakech put you close to the Medina, but Park Hyatt has a different draw. It sits just outside the city, on the Al Maaden golf estate, and that distance, as well as the clear views of the Atlas Mountains, is part of the appeal.
Its 130 rooms and 69 suites offer generous amounts of space, but that’s not the point. What matters is that they’re private, quiet and focused on the olive trees, fairways and mountain views outside. The three pools are separated by use: family, adults-only and another indoors as part of the spa. One of the most comprehensive spas in the area, it is over 2,200 square metres with ten treatment rooms and a traditional hammam.
TFAYA, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is led by chef Issam Rhachi, who modernises Moroccan cooking in the best way. There’s also the Pool Pavilion for lunch and The Living Room for cocktails and Moroccan teas.
