NIHI Sumba island

Situated on an idyllic and unspoilt island 250 miles east of Bali, NIHI Sumba resort offers guests a true sense of escape where rugged luxury combines with the freedom to explore all kinds of new adventures and experiences.

Accessed via a short flight from Bali, this scenic corner of the world features 1.5 miles of private beach and nearly 670 acres of lush landscape, providing the perfect backdrop for a romantic or active getaway. Among the tropical foliage lie 27 villas of varying size and layout, ranging from one to five bedrooms and each with private pool. Inside the villas you will discover natural elements, creating light bright spaces with a nod to both local heritage and the great outdoors. Back on land, head off hiking, mountain biking and horse riding, visit local villages and markets and indulge in a tour of Chris and Charly’s Chocolate Factory to partake in chocolate making or fun activities for younger guests.
