Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley
There are a handful of excellent Napa hotels and no shortage of fabulous wineries, but this is the first truly high-end resort that marries the two. Nowhere else this luxurious can you sit on your private terrace admiring views across the vineyards, or walk to a wine tasting without worrying about who’s driving. Why? Because this is the only Napa Valley resort to be set within a working winery – more than four acres of organically farmed Cabernet Sauvignon vines to be precise. As well as vineyard views, rooms feature working fireplaces, wine fridges, deep-soaking tubs and a farmhouse-chic aesthetic. There are both family-friendly and adults-only pools, an excellent spa where you can bask in the sun coated in detoxifying mud, plus a choice of three restaurants, including fine-dining Auro, whose five-course menus are inspired by the seasons.
