D-Resort Göcek

A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, D-Resort Göcek is an elegant, boutique-style hotel set against a backdrop of forest-clad mountains, picturesque islands, beautiful beaches and quiet, natural coves. It’s set just on the edge of trendy Göcek village, with its yacht-filled marinas and quaysides lined with smart international restaurants and traditional Turkish eateries.

Light and airy rooms are located in eight accommodation buildings, all finished with chic modern décor and a nautical style. Ground-floor rooms have access to one of the hotel’s three inviting pools, while suites have the added benefit of an extra living area. Bathrooms in all cases come with walk-in showers.

Breakfast is served at Olives and includes a beautifully presented buffet of Turkish specialities. For lunch we’d recommend D-Breeze, which offers uninterrupted sea views from its position on a private beach. Then for dinner head to Q-Lounge, a contemporary all-cedarwood Japanese restaurant on a hillside overlooking the beach. Between meals you’ll find drinks and snacks at the laidback Olives Pool Bar, as well as coffees and desserts at DD Scoop, the resort’s own ice cream and pastry shop located in the beach area.

A range of holistic experiences can be found in the relaxing D-Spa, complete with hammam, vitality pool, saunas and an ice fountain. You can work up a sweat in the well-equipped D-Gym, swim off the beach or in any of the three pools, take the complimentary bikes to visit the low-key town of Göcek, or climb aboard the resort’s own yacht to explore the nearby bays and islands.
