Shinta Mani Wild – a Bensley Collection
This exciting new conservation project designed by Bill Bensley lies deep within one of the greatest wilderness areas of South East Asia, where three of Cambodia’s oldest and most important parks, Kirirom, Bokor and Cardamom, make up the spectacular surroundings.
Set to offer a new twist on luxury tented camps, this safari inspired camp located south west of Phnom Penh is home to 15 custom designed tents. Perched over a swiftly moving river and waterfalls, each of the tents has been meticulously created to invoke the feeling of wild sophistication and showcase views like no other. At the edge of the sanctuary’s biggest waterfall is the Landing Zone Bar and Headquarters Restaurant, serving locally inspired food with ingredients sourced locally and sustainably foraged from the forest. Guests are also welcome to join the Chef on his foraging expeditions, collecting edible plants from the forest.
Spend a day discovering the untrammeled waterways of South East Asia’s last wild estuarine ecosystem, while aboard a fully equipped luxury expedition boat complete with kayaks, or journey out with rangers and researchers as they check camera traps, studying the surrounding wilderness and its inhabitants. After a full day exploring, guests can unwind in the Khmer Tonics Spa, providing the perfect place to relax and absorb the events of the day.
