Sitting on the island escape of Koh Yao Yai in Thailand’s picture postcard Phang Nga Bay, the Anantara Koh Yao Yai tempts with oversize suites and villas, impressive facilities for families and extraordinary views. As a base for a long stay beach holiday, or easily combined with a Thailand island hop, this is a truly memorable location with a great variety of things to do and places to explore.

The Anantara Resort sits on the east coast, on a one kilometre stretch of sand, with views of the hundreds of islands of the bay and the Thai mainland beyond.

The rooms and villas are enclosed by tropical palms and hills leading to the beach, with an inviting variety of sizes and styles. Leading in with deluxe sea view suites, at 90 square metres in size, there are separate seating areas and private balconies with wonderful sea views. There is an extensive range of family suites suitable for four with plenty of space, bunk beds and dedicated kids sections. areas. The Grand Family Sea View suites come with slides and separate kids suites have sea views or family pool access.

Spacious and inviting Pool Villas come in one or two bedroom sizes with large decks and beachside or lagoon settings. A distinctive addition to the collection are the Wellness Pool Villas which come with a dedicated area for massage, yoga or meditation and space to work out with a personal trainer or indulge in a Thai massage.

Extensive room options are completed with the Sea View Pool Penthouses, with jacuzzi, a kitchen and dining room, upper deck infinity pools and extra special sea views.

Restaurants and bars at Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort reflect the overall feeling of space and airy design of the resort. The Beach Restaurant serves Western & Asian food with a live cooking station, while Omakase is upscale Japanese style dining. Pakarang Thai restaurant has all day dining, and a spacious indoor and outdoor setting whilst Pakarang Bar has unbeatable ocean panoramas.
