Jumeirah Capri Palace
High in the hills above laidback Anacapri, Jumeirah Capri Palace is close enough to the designer shops and restaurants of glitzy Capri Town yet secluded enough to feel like you’re on a country getaway.
Whitewashed architecture, stunning sea views and impeccably manicured gardens lend an aristocratic air, while accommodations feel similarly fit for royalty. Guestrooms are opulent in gleaming white or cream, often with balconies and dazzling sea views. Some even come with private heated pools, set in small gardens for added privacy. Suites are delightfully over-the-top. There are several to choose from, though we particularly admire the Capritouch Suites with their grand white columns and stunning Gulf of Naples views, and the two-bedroom, black-and-white Presidential Paltrow Suite, complete with two private pools and a spacious terrace with views of Ischia and Procida.
Avoid the crowds of day trippers by lounging around the hotel pool, hanging out at Il Riccio beach club, or taking treatments at the renowned Capri Medical Spa. At night, descend into Capri Town to sample the town’s many dining options, or stay in for a meal at L’Olivo, the hotel’s two-Michelin-star restaurant, or vibrant rooftop Zuma Capri.
