Atmosphere Kanifushi
One of few resorts set in the sparsely populated Lhaviyani Atoll, Atmosphere Kanifushi is a hassle-free, 5-star, all-inclusive resort offering affordable luxury just 35 minutes by seaplane from Malé.
Immediately striking is the dazzling two-kilometre white-sand beach that runs the whole length of the island, flanked by an iridescent turquoise lagoon. Spread out along the sand are spacious beach villas with high ceilings, wooden floors, open-air bathrooms and direct beach access. Even the smallest are among the largest entry-level beachfront villas in the Maldives, with larger categories offering private pools and additional bedrooms for families. In addition to these are 40 overwater villas (28 with private pools) split across two wooden jetties that curve like palm fronds out over the lagoon.
