Day 1
London to Hanoi
Fly overnight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, enjoy a meet-and-greet service with fast-track assistance, allowing you to quickly reach the Sofitel Legend Metropole. Stay for two nights at this historic address in the heart of the city.
Day 2
Hanoi
Explore Hanoi in unique style with a local guide in a classic jeep. Visit the capital’s landmarks, including the Temple of Literature and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. With your guide’s insider knowledge, discover hidden parts of the city: navigate through a maze of back streets, markets, and local homes to get a real flavour of Hanoi.
In the evening, enjoy a guided street food tour in Old Hanoi, offering an introduction to both classic and modern Vietnamese flavours.
Days 3-4
Halong Bay
Journey to the coast and discover the UNESCO World Heritage site, the natural wonder of Halong Bay. Board the luxurious, classically-styled Heritage Line Violet junk for a two-night cruise.
Shore visits include a fishing village, islands with impressive cave systems, a pearl farm, and Ti Top Island, where you can spend time on the beach or take a walk to the peak. Onboard, enjoy morning Tai Chi, or try squid fishing with the crew in the evening. There’s also plenty of time to relax and soak up the unforgettable scenery.

Days 5-7
Hoi and the Four Seasons
After a morning on Halong Bay, disembark and transfer to Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang. Enjoy a three-night stay at the luxurious Four Seasons Hoi An.
The Four Seasons Hoi An offers a perfect blend of beach time, five-star indulgence, and cultural exploration of the picturesque old town of Hoi An.
Hoi An, part of the ancient Cham kingdom and settled by Japanese, Portuguese, and French traders, is an exotic mix that has been perfectly preserved. Included in your stay are an excursion to the old town and a visit to a rural village, where you can witness age-old traditions and savour a lunch of freshly prepared local flavours.
Days 8-10
Saigon
Fly south to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. This modern, bustling riverside city, with its skyscrapers and vibrant Asian energy, has a turbulent and notorious history. Saigon is an excellent place to explore, offering great restaurants and a lively bar scene. Stay in the heart of the city at Mai House for two nights.
A full-day tour by river to the Cu Chi Tunnels is included, where you can explore the ingenious tunnels and learn about the history of the Viet Cong. Return to the city by river, enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant, and explore Saigon with your guide on a vintage Vespa.
Days 11-13
Saigon to Phnom Penh on the Mekong River
Depart Vietnam in style on the legendary Mekong River with a three-night cruise on the Heritage Line Jahan.
Setting off from My Tho, immerse yourself in the opulent Indian, South East Asian, and European fusion decor of the Jahan. Relax on your balcony and take in the bustling Mekong River under the golden afternoon light.
Begin your mornings with tai chi on deck. Included excursions offer visits to the floating markets and villages of the Mekong Delta, including Cai Be Island and Chau Doc.
Savour delicious cuisine as you sail into Cambodia. On the morning of the third day, arrive at Phnom Penh’s bustling promenade.
Days 14-15
Phnom Penh
Stay for two nights at the Palace Gate Hotel in the heart of Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. On a city tour, you’ll immerse yourself in the local culture and lifestyle. The tour can include visits to Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields, where you’ll witness the turbulent 20th-century history of the Khmer Rouge, gaining a deeper understanding of modern Cambodia.
Days 16-18
Angkor Wat
Travel overland to Siem Reap, stopping along the way to visit Cambodia’s charming villages.
Stay for three nights at the boutique Heritage Suites Hotel, an ideal base for exploring the spectacular temples of Angkor.
Two half-day tours are included to visit Angkor, a sprawling ancient temple complex. Some temples, like the majestically restored Angkor Wat, tower above the jungle. Others, like Ta Prohm, have been reclaimed by the jungle, creating an air of mystery and adventure. The tours also include trips to the vast Tonlé Sap Lake and the fishing village of Kampong Phluk, offering a glimpse into traditional life around the temples.
With a private guide, you can avoid the crowds and set your own agenda, lingering at the places that interest you the most. In the evening, optional visits to the amazing Phare circus show or Cambodian food experiences are well worth considering.
Day 19
Final Day
Transfer to the airport for departure. It’s easy to add a beach stay on the quiet islands of southern Cambodia or a stop in Thailand on the way home.
