Safari in Style

From the mayhem of Mumbai to the calm of Kanha and the sweeping plains of Bandhavgarh, this tour provides an experience of India you will never forget. Wake up to the thrill of early morning safaris, seeing the parks come to life as the dawn breaks, safe in the knowledge that you will return each evening to the comfort of luxury lodges. As well as the tigers, this tour takes you on a journey to see amazing temples, before concluding the adventure in Delhi.

Day 1

London to Mumbai

You will be met on arrival and transferred to the The Taj Mahal Palace for a 2 night stay.
Day 2

Mumbai

Today visit Mumbai city, which includes the Dabbawallas and Dhobi Ghat. The afternoon can be spent at leisure or with an optional excursion to Elephanta Caves, a striking labyrinth of caves and home to a collection of rock art set on an island in Mumbai Harbour.
Day 3

Mumbai to Pench

You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Mumbai Airport for a flight to Nagpur, followed by a journey by road to Pench National Park, staying for 2 nights at Baghvan, A Taj Safari. Lunch at the lodge is followed by a shared Jeep safari.
Day 4

Pench

Today will be spent with safaris both in the morning and the afternoon. A typical central Indian teak jungle, Pench supports a rich variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and brilliant birdlife. The park’s open habitat not only lends itself to wonderful wildlife viewing, but it also offers striking views of the natural surroundings.
Day 5

Pench to Kanha

After an early morning safari, you will be collected from the lodge and transferred by road to Kanha National Park for a 3 night stay at Banjaar Tola, A Taj Safari.
Day 6 and 7

Kanha

Spend the days enjoying morning and afternoon safaris while a maze of tracks unfurl the hidden mysteries of this great national park, including rolling hills with crystal clear streams amid the dense jungle, valleys and meadows, not to mention an abundance of wildlife and animals.
Day 8

Kanha to Bandhavgarh

Depart from the lodge for your road transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park, for a 3 night stay at Mahua Kothi, A Taj Safari. Upon arrival you will enjoy an afternoon safari, exploring this renowned tiger reserve and its dramatic landscapes of tropical forests, steep rocky hills and flat grasslands in the valleys.
Days 9 and 10

Bandhavgarh

Spend the days enjoying morning and afternoon safaris filled with adventure.
Day 11

Bandhavgarh to Panna

In the morning you will be collected from your lodge and transferred by road to Panna National Park, where you will stay overnight at Pashan Garh, A Taj Safari. In the afternoon you will visit the Western Group of Temples, superb examples of Indo-Aryan architecture located in nearby Khajuraho.
Day 12

Panna to Delhi (via Khajuraho)

Following a morning visit to the Eastern Group of Temples, you will be transferred to Khajuraho Airport for your flight to Delhi, where you are then met upon arrival and taken to the Taj City Centre, Gurugram for an overnight stay.
Day 13

Delhi to London

Today you will be transferred to Delhi Airport for your flight to London.
