Day 1
Arrive Philadelphia (D)
Arrive at Philadelphia International Airport and transfer to the Sofitel Philadelphia for a 2 night stay. In the evening enjoy a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the hotel, which is situated in the city centre near to the Rodin Museum, City Hall, Liberty Place and other landmarks.

Philadelphia (B)
Immerse in American history with a tour of Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. View the Liberty Bell before taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic district. Visit the National Constitution Center and witness the award-winning presentation ‘Freedom Rising’. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3
Amish Country & Gettysburg (B , L , D)
Today you will travel to Lancaster County for a guided tour of Amish culture, followed by lunch. Continue on to Gettysburg National Military Park for a visit to the interpretive centre, home to the film ‘A New Birth of Freedom’, narrated by Morgan Freeman, plus the massive Cyclorama painting that vividly brings battles to life. Arrive at The Gettysburg Hotel for an overnight stay, including an after-dinner dessert reception with a storyteller.
